CNBC’s “Profiting From Dying Industries” segment recently covered the drastic stock declines of Idearc and RH Donnelly (the big print yellow pages companies). While a 92% drop in stock value is not enough to signal the death of an industry, we believe that Yellow Pages Customer Acquisition Costs at 10X those of online is a definite sign that the end is near.
