Shayne McCarl – Project Manager	As one of the first G5 employees, Shayne is a Jayne of all trades. Her primary focus is to help new clients create their new websites. After growing up in Sedona, Arizona and receiving her BA at the University of Arizona (Go Cats!) Shayne moved to the Silicon Valley, where she worked for such tech luminaries as Microsoft and Hewlett Packard. After several years of honing her skills, she traveled through 19 countries and finally landed in Maui surfing and diving most days - working when she could. Missing the joys of technology but wanting to balance her life with outdoor recreation she moved to Bend with her husband Daryl. She is now the proud mother of two adorable and extremely calm daughters.
Dawn Nason – Project Coordinator	Raised in Orange County, California, Dawn relocated to Bend 11 years ago to slow down & start a family. Dawn has been with G5 for over two years, and is proud to be apart of the every growing G5 family. She loves the challenge that "html" gives her on a daily basis, and enjoys the fast paced world of Go Live or Die Trying. She has 4 beautiful kids, and on her days off if she isnt watching a soccer or little league game, you could probably find her riding bikes, swimming or hiking with her munchkins & husband John.
Jody O'Donnell – SEO Manager	Jody is a one-man tour de force, slinging packets and pixels like an Internet short-order cook. A Native Oregonian – Jody dropped the corporate world in Denver, Colorado for the beauty and simplicity of Central Oregon. While not banging away on keyboards, you can find him on the trails or hanging from cliffs hoping he won't need a rescue.
Kira Marchant - Senior Project Manager	Kira is a Senior Project Manager for G5. She is responsible for working with clients, designers and engineers to bring a website from concept to design to "live" on the web. Prior to joining G5, Kira was the owner and operator of a small property management company in Crested Butte, Colorado as well as a website marketer and designer. Prior to that she was the Marketing Manager for Geonerco, Inc. a homebuilder and developer with offices in 5 western states. She was responsible for online advertising and website content as well as overseeing marketing activities in 6 branch offices. Kira received her BA in Communications and BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder. When not working you can find Kira enjoying the outdoors - hiking, mountain biking or playing in the snow with her husband Tim and their two children.
Kevin Detweiler - Controller	As G5's controller, Kevin is responsible for various aspects of the company's finances and operations. Kevin began his career in private and public accounting and brings over 18 years of business experience in the financial, software and retail industries. Prior to joining G5, Kevin was VP of Operations for Access Knowledge, a mobile data strategy company assisting clients with information management. Prior to Access Knowledge, Kevin was Credit Services Manager for Multnomah Publishers, managing large accounts receivables and a team of collection representatives. He grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania and continues to maintain his allegiance to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Phillies and cheesesteaks. He has spent time in the Dominican Republic, Canada, Mexico, Netherlands, Belgium and New Jersey (which is kind of like a foreign country). He received his BA in Accounting from Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. Kevin makes his home in Bend Oregon with his wife, Amy Jo, son, Owen, and two pups, Tucker and Remy. When not at work, Kevin enjoys the Central Oregon outdoors, hiking, biking, snow shoeing.
Lance Hardy – Professional Services Developer	A firm believer in pursuing what he loves, Lance tends to sport some wicked cool "hat hair" styles from the variety of hats he wears each day. His primary passion is avant-garde photography, tackling any and all subjects that interest him with a primary focus on glamour. Years of dabbling and some serious heavy lifting in the web and browser based software development arena keep him busy and grounded, though shooting with beautiful models will always be his first love and creative outlet.
Kim Evered - Senior Marketing Analyst	As one of G5's dedicated Marketing Analysts, Kim helps close the loop on G5's tracking, analysis and reporting processes while also working with customers to help educate them on our services. Prior to joining G5, Kim was the Inside Sales Manager at PV Powered, a Bend, OR solar inverter manufacturing company. Along the way in her varied career path, she has also held positions in Customer Service/Technical Support, Marketing, Sales, Business Management and Accounting. Kim received her B.A. degree in English from Willamette University.
Erik Miller – Search Optimizer	When it comes to Erik Miller you can say a lot. An avid fisherman and track bike rider, Erik is eager to go into the office in the morning because he knows when hes off he plays hard. He rocks the SEO team by bringing a "Kill It" attitude as in all he does. Having moved to the Northwest a few years back for the outdoors his motto would be "React now, fix it later."
þaul Dàcus – Software Engineer	When people want code written they call þaul Dàcus. Despite his oddball sense of humor, or perhaps because of it, Paul is an excellent and talented programmer. He likes to joke that he has seen the world as he’s travelled extensively through both the United States and Canada. Paul is married to his college sweetheart and the proud father of 3 boys. An avid cyclist, Paul can be seen riding his bike to work on a daily basis. Something he likes to point out - he does more than anybody else at G5. He holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the University of Missouri.
Chris Stringer – Software Engineer	Chris is a part of the engineering crew at G5. His background is in software and web development as well as business development and online marketing, and he has founded and worked with numerous start up companies over the years. Chris is an outdoor nut, and his passions include skateboarding, snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing and mountain biking. Chris is an East Coast transplant but he knows that living here in the Pacific Northwest for the past 13 years has earned him "local" status.
Kat Merrick – Executive Assistant	Kat might be best described as G5’s Girl Friday. She brings coast-to-coast business operations experience to the G5 team. In some of her earlier lives she was an event planner, a paralegal, a restaurant manager, an operations manager, a bookkeeper and an office manager in places like Buffalo, New York City, Philadelphia, Aspen and King Salmon, Alaska. An avid outdoorswoman, when not at work Kat can be found exploring Central Oregon’s rivers, lakes and trails with her husband, Dave, and her dog, Lowell. Kat received her B.S. in Hotel Management from Cornell University but has become a devoted Platypus (Duck football and Beaver baseball) fan since arriving in Bend 9 years ago.
Rob Day – Senior Sales Account Executive	Rob brings a wide variety of experience to the G5 sales team - with over 15 years of sales experience in various fields including Human Resources, Medical Equipment and Software. Prior to G5, Rob was building high end homes in Central Oregon with his company Day Custom Homes. An official local after almost 15 years in Bend, you can find Rob on the lake, river, mountain, golf course or rugby field when not at work. He spends most of his time enjoying the Central Oregon outdoors with his family and friends. If you can't find him in any of those other places its probably best to check the nearest sunny deck or wherever the cooler full of drinks is located. He received his BA from Arizona State.
Heather Amey – Marketing Analyst	Heather brings a decade of customer support experience to the G5 Client Services Support team. After graduating from the University of Washington with a BA in Speech Communication, Heather has held a range of positions from Team Leader of Recruiting in Portland to legal assistant in Whitefish, Montana. When not updating websites, Heather enjoys hiking, skiing, gardening and playing with her family in beautiful Central Oregon.
Keeli Hyde – Human Resources Manager	Keeli Hyde is a mother, wife and the Human Resources superstar at G5. After 10 years of working in Portland in a high stress, corporate environment, Keeli and her family decided to switch gears and move to Bend in search of a better work-life-family balance. For them, that meant being closer to their family and doing all the things they love like skiing, hiking, camping, golfing, fishing and the modicum of other outdoor activities Central Oregon has to offer. Keeli graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Human Development and Human Resources. "I am enjoying keeping this unique and fabulous team of 'renegades' out of trouble - as any good HR person would."
Chris Sterry - Search Analyst	When Chris isn't out traveling the world with his wife Kristi, coaching water polo at Summit High School, or enjoying the beautiful Central Oregon outdoors with their dog Rascal, he spends his time as a search analyst here at G5. Chris sets up and manages paid advertisements on Google, Yahoo, and several other sites. Prior to joining G5, he was a sales and marketing specialist working with Kodak Digital Imaging. Originally from Southern California, Chris moved to Bend to enjoy the active community that Bend is famous for. As he puts it, "I love being in an environment that has more trees than billboards!" Chris majored in both philosophy, and education at California State University Fullerton.
Timmy Crawford - Software Engineer	While not slanging the code you can often find Timmy shredding the gnar. A self-proclaimed "sick bird" TIMMAY, as he likes to be called, enjoys spending his free time pursuing various outdoor activities that involve snow, beer, and oddly enough, pink belts. At the office Timmy is part of the G5 engineering team. Prior to G5, Timmy held positions at Microsoft, Mt. Bachelor, and was most recently a self-employed "code warrior". Equipped with a BA in Business Administration for the University of Washington, Timmy also finds delight in annoying U of O graduates. When not "getting rad" at the keyboard, or outdoors, he is usually found hanging with his lovely family and two wunder mutts.
Amanda Wilson – Implementation Specialist	After a lifetime in the High Desert of California, Amanda traded in the sweltering summers of Hesperia, CA for the snowy winters in Bend, OR. As a member of the G5 implementation team, Amanda works hard putting together new client websites and keeps a smile on right up to the Go Live. In another life, Amanda spent time in the mortgage industry and worked as a Notary Public. These days she can be found with her nose in a book or taking in a cheesy horror flick on a Saturday afternoon with her husband and high school sweetheart, Jed. An aspiring chef and longtime writer, Amanda can often be found fighting to find "the perfect word" in some novel, poem or piece of prose she’ll then hide from the world. Amanda is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first child in February, 2010.
Brian Steuble - Staff Accountant	Brian handles all revenue related finances for G5. When he’s not hard at work performing a wide range of accounting duties, he can usually be found either at the mountain or on the beach. Aside from his love of surfing/snowboarding, he’s also a golfer, pool shark, and avid poker player. Raised in the SF bay area (go A’s!), Brian travelled south to earn his BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He’s heard all the Trojan hatred idioms but will always laugh off a new one with unapologetic confidence. One day a call came from a good friend informing him of a career opportunity in Bend. Two days later, he left the sprawling Los Angeles bedlam and never looked back. His financial background got him into the accounting department at Mt. Bachelor where he counted many beans. After 2.5 years as a financial auditor, Brian is excited to be working for an upbeat, energetic, rapidly growing company in G5.
Dana Wolff – Marketing Analyst	Dana is part of the Implementation team and brings to G5 years of customer service experience. She has a variety of experience which includes years as a retail manager/buyer, scuba instructor, implementation coordinator for a payroll software company and real estate sales. Many years ago, she relocated from Lake Tahoe, California to beautiful Central Oregon. She spends much of her spare time outdoors with her husband Mike, mountain biking, skiing, hiking and kayaking. When life in Bend starts to feel a bit too fast, they hit the road in their faithful 73 VW bus to explore the landscape – both local and far.
Hans Sprecher - Web Developer	A bona fide CSS junkie with over ten years of coding experience, Hans recently graduated from Brown University with a degree in logic and philosophy. He tries to convince people this is relevant to his work at G5 - though, in reality, his wrangling of a large chunk of code for Brown's websites is vastly more relevant to his current position. In his secret life away from the LCD screen, Hans is a competitive ballroom dancer who also enjoys swing, salsa, and ridiculously dry martinis. After being raised in Bend, Hans took a circuitous route through Australia, Barbados, Germany, and a handful of other locales before landing back in Bend. Other passions include backpacking, mountaineering, and skiing.
Sarah Douglas – Search Optimizer	Sarah joined the G5 team and in so doing traded the sandy beaches of Santa Cruz, CA for the high desert of Bend. Prior to joining G5, she worked as a manager for a major pet retail chain and as an aquatic toxicologist with an environmental consulting laboratory. Sarah is excited to be working in a new industry and is settling in quite nicely. When not working her keyboard magic, Sarah can be found adventuring in her new surroundings with her husband or relaxing at home pursuing one of her many hobbies: playing World of Warcraft, reading, drawing, and crafting. An animal lover all her life, she also spends a lot of her time tending to her "zoo" - which includes aquariums, birds and a cat.
Will Sharp – Support Manager	Will joined the G5 team with a strong background in project coordination and management - making him a perfect fit in the Pro Services department. He grew up in Tucson, AZ, developing an early love of the outdoors while following his mother through the desert looking for "saguaro boots". He wandered into Bend in 1992 and has lived here off and on (mostly on) ever since. Will has spent the last 15 years in the Outdoor Recreation industry, first as a whitewater rafting guide, then as Operations Manager, and finally as the co-owner of Ouzel Outfitters, one of the largest whitewater rafting companies in Oregon. When not at work or involved in one of his endless home improvement projects, Will , his wife Maria, and his daughter Sonora love to load up in the camper van and explore some new corner of the Northwest. Will received his B.S. in Business Information Systems from Linfield College.
Tina Mauk – Project Manager	Tina joined the G5 team in 2009. Prior to working at G5, Tina worked as a Marketing Coordinator for a Real Estate Company, and spent 3 years as a freelance Graphic Designer in Sandpoint Idaho. After 3 years of harsh North Idaho winters, she felt that it was time head south. In 2008 Tina returned to her hometown Eugene Oregon, where she worked as a Search Marketing Specialist for Marchex. In 2009 she decided to trade in the Willamette Valley clouds for beautiful Bend sunshine. At G5, Tina's main role is to manage the production process for new client websites. Her hobbies include graphic art, painting, learning guitar and spending time with her 3 beautiful children.
R. Aaron Warnock – Director of Product Management	Aaron is responsible for product planning and lifecycle management at G5. Previously he held director roles in product and business development at Coremetrics, Inc., leading the creation of digital marketing applications and partner technology solutions. Prior to Coremetrics, Aaron has been active in both high tech and biotech ventures, chiefly in strategic product development and marketing. Aaron's fascination with behavioral analysis originates from his previous career in bio-medical research. He holds a SB (Biology) from MIT, a Ph.D (Immunology) from Stanford, and has authored numerous articles.
Kailey Stevens - Implementation Specialist	Kailey is apart of the Implementation team here at G5. A born and raised Bendite, Kailey is a implementation specialist building web pages within G5's platform. Prior to G5, Kailey worked in a number of different industries including child care and cosmetics. The youngest of six and the proud aunt to 10 nieces and nephews, Kailey takes every opportunity to travel and see new places and new things. When away from the office, she enjoys playing with her obese cat Bowie (named after the androgynous musician), raising pigs (really) and taking advantage of the outdoor activities (hiking, camping, riding quads and swimming) that Bend is known for.
Dara Christoff - Marketing Analyst	Dara is an integral part of the G5 team as a marketing analyst. Originally from Pittsburgh, Dara and her husband Pete moved from Ohio to Oregon in 2008. Her previous work experience includes roles as an IT business analyst in the banking industry and a college financial aid counselor. She received a BS in Management Information Systems and an MBA with a Marketing concentration from the University of Dayton. Along with her love for traveling and cooking, in her free time Dara enjoys hiking, biking, and taking advantage of all the fun outdoor activities that beautiful Central Oregon has to offer. She feels blessed to be living, playing, and working in Bend, where the sun is (almost) always shining!
Ronald Chmara – Software Engineer	Ronald Chmara has worked as a graphic artist, a musician and an Internet consultant. Companies he’s worked for include NASDAQ and Sun. He has also done a fair amount of work for the NSA and DoD. Of course, if you ask him about that work, he’ll have to kill you. In his free time, Ronald reads technical manuals and trade magazines, along with the the occasional odd book on hermeneutics, ontology and other topics that use large, obscure words to describe them.
Kelsey Sweeney – Marketing Analyst	Kelsey is a stellar member of the Marketing Analyst team. She developed her “appetite” for online marketing, as an Account Manager for a food and entertaining website, where she managed digital advertising programs for nearly 5 years. Prior to that, she honed her client management skills as an Account Executive at an advertising agency in Seattle. Kelsey graduated from the University of Oregon, where she received her B.S. in Journalism and Communications. Having moved to Bend from Seattle over 3 years ago, Kelsey and her husband are both avid recreationalists - enjoying all that Bend has to offer - including boarding, hiking, mountain biking and long walks with their two XXL dogs Henry and Burton.
Dave Beltramini - Director of Paid Advertising	Dave brings over 12 years of online marketing experience to G5, having spent time with Verizon, Covad and most recently YouSendIt. A graduate of Boston College who also holds an MBA from USC, Dave has also won numerous awards, including the IAB's Search Campaign of the Year for 2006. He was also a runner-up at Ad:tech. Originally from Boston, he has lived in Washington DC, Dallas, Texas, Southern California and, most recently, Northern California. Dave and his wife Katie are the proud parents of two wonderful children. In his spare time he enjoys snowboarding, golfing, cycling and fly-fishing.
Jon Davis – Paid Search Analyst	Jon grew up in Unionville, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. He attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA where he was named an Academic All-American while attaining degrees in Business Administration and Economics. Previous to G5, Jon spent over two years working for an SEM firm in Atlanta called Capture Commerce, Inc. In his spare time, you can find Jon on the golf course, on a run, having a beverage with friends, planning his next trip or rooting on the New York Giants.
Linda Brending – Marketing Analyst	Linda is part of the Marketing Analyst team and brings an extensive career in customer service and software support. She worked for Pacific Power in customer service and management. The last 10 years was in software support and account management. Linda is a native Oregonian and enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown daughters. She enjoys hanging out with friends, golfing and other outdoor activities.
Nicole Mintiens - Accounting Clerk	As a native Central Oregonian, Nicole brings her number and granola crunching experience to the G5 accounting team. Her passion for marketing has developed through her enrollment in the business program at OSU-Cascades campus from which she graduates in December. Having heard business professors repeatedly tout the praises of G5 she jumped at the first opportunity to get her foot in the door. Nicole lives in Redmond with her two crazy Cairn Terriers with who she enjoys running, gardening and practicing yoga. When not with her dogs she spends her time renovating her house, traveling and modeling.
Tyler Juhola - Paid Search Analyst	Tyler was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He moved to Beautiful Bend, OR in 2000 with his family. He quickly became a golfing enthusiast in the process of learning to love everything about Central Oregon. After competing heavily at Bend High and in junior golf events, he went off to Gonzaga University to major in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in psychology. Prior to joining G5, Tyler worked as a health care consultant for a year at a hospital outside of Seattle. When not working, you can find Tyler on the golf course, the tennis court, hanging with friends or catching up with all the cool stuff that's sprouted up in Bend.
Kate Bailey – Search Optimizer	Kate (K8) enjoys being outside. A native Oregonian and Uof O grad, she has lived in Bend for the better part of a decade. Before G5 she earned her keep as a math tutor/river guide/bulding supply sales human. She likes: dirt biking, driving, learning, traveling, biking, walking, camping, skiing, surfing, cooking, eating, drinking, fixing, puzzles, tinkering, dogs, cartoons, reading, clean laundry, and shiny stuff. Her dislikes include: splinters, dirty upholstery, torn ligaments, disobedient little white dogs, and strawberries...
Nicole Stormberg - Search Analyst	Nicole is part of G5's paid search team, where she combines equal parts passion for writing and number crunching into creating and monitoring pay per click campaigns. Prior to G5, she worked as a staff writer for Oregon Business Magazine and Gusto. Nicole received a BA in Magazine Journalism from the University of Oregon, and is currently pursuing a second degree in Accounting. Outside the office, Nicole loves traveling, especially when it comes to wandering the great Northwest to enjoy the region's music scene. She also enjoys participating in the outdoor activities Central Oregon has to offer, as well as preparing food for anyone willing to take a chance on her newfound—and often unconventional—cooking skills.
Tony Griego – Support Specialist	Tony was born and raised in beautiful Bend, Oregon. Growing up, Tony spent most of his time on horse back and dirt bikes, soaking up the Pacific Northwest terrain. In his early teen years, he deviated from the typical kid. Instead of memorizing the stats of his favorite athletes, Tony was fascinated with rankings of entrepreneurs on the Forbes top 100. After graduating high school, Tony pursued his business interest by attending Eastern Oregon University to seek a degree in accounting. While in the EOU business program, he met a friend who introduced him to the world of online marketing through affiliate advertising. As a result of this online marketing effort, Tony got a crash course in everything that is the web, learning mostly through osmosis, as well as trial and error. Upon moving back to Bend, he began dating his beautiful girlfriend of three years, Laurie. Tony has also been a licensed Insurance producer, blackjack dealer, and most recently worked at the famous Deschutes Brewery. He is now thrilled to be part of the G5 team!
April O'Rourke - Project Manager	April is responsible for working with clients and managing their website projects from initiation through launch. Prior to moving to Bend in 2008 with her family, she lived in Seattle for 15 years. April has been managing web projects since 1997, helping a wide range of clients like Bank One and Toyota. She spent the last 6 years working with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s company, Vulcan Inc., in developing custom software. April received her BA in English Literature from the University of Washington. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master. Outside of work, April spends time with her family and loves international travel (especially Spain).
Mike Sisk – Senior Operations Engineer	Mike is a member of the engineering team. He focuses on the operation of the G5 platform. He has an extensive background in software and web technology. He was a co-founder of a web development company in the 1990’s and has worked with a diverse range of clients like Greenpeace, MIT, and the US Army Corp of Engineers. When not in the office keeping the site up and running he can be found exploring and photographing the great outdoors with his wife and three kids.
Rob Revels – Senior Software Engineer	Rob was born in Florida and has moved quite a bit in his life as his father was in the military. He has worked at a number of startups and contracting firms – primarily on the East Coast. Rob is a technology ace – having worked on all different kids of applications and many different kinds of systems using various languages and technologies. He lives and works in Portland for G5 with his wife, Maeve. Rob enjoys working on various kinds of rails applications. In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, reading and music. He is a graduate of the University of Florida.
Maeve Revels – Senior Software Engineer	Maeve brings a lifetime of geekery to the engineering team at G5. From a childhood of chemistry sets, crystal radios, and teaching herself BASIC to an adulthood of building robust, scalable enterprise applications in Ruby, Java, and LISP. Prior to joining G5, the coolest job she ever held was working on one of the ground systems for the Hubble Space Telescope. A native of the Washington DC area, she moved to Portland with her husband several years ago after falling in love with the Pacific Northwest. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, knitting, video games, and beer. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Chico Fraley – Sales Account Executive	Chico brings a wide variety of experience to the G5 sales team. He has more than 15 years of technology and sales experience in fields that include telecom, recruitment, and commodity trading. Immediately prior to G5, Chico was the Business Development Manager at Express Employment Professionals in Central Oregon. Raising their family in Bend for the last ten years, Chico and his wife Amy enjoy following their 4 kids as they compete and excel in various athletic and academic endeavors. When not playing the role of carpool Dad, you can find Chico on the basketball court, the golf course or at the BBQ. As a member of the University of Washington 1991 National Championship football team, he is an avid Dawg supporter in a sea of Ducks and Beavers.
Stuart Hicks – Sales Account Executive	Stuart’s passion for launching emerging products and real estate developments has resulted in sales approaching $1 Billion. His career began in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at Governors Club, a nationally renowned destination resort. He moved to Bend in 2002 to launch Pronghorn where he helped establish the resort among Golf Digest’s Top 10 in only its fifth year of operation. In 2005 Stuart joined Los Angeles-based Lowe Enterprises as a Development Manager responsible for the marketing and sale of a 4-Diamond, $150 Million Condominium Hotel at their flagship resort Suncadia near Seattle. He later worked as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for an industry-leading real estate launch firm with developer clients across the nation. In addition to his work in the exciting world of high-end resort development, Stuart has also led several innovative, green, product launches. At G5 Stuart focuses on the growth of new vertical markets, including the Senior Housing Market where he is excited by the opportunity to deliver results for clients engaged in the improvement of seniors’ lives. He is married to a glamorous, intelligent, patient, myopic wife with whom he is raising three wonderful children to love God and neighbor.
Kalista Glasgow - Client Trainer/Admin	A native Texan trying to adjust to cold weather and higher altitude, Kalista joined the G5 team in December ‘09. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she loves camping, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing and any other activities that keep her out in nature. She received her bachelors in mass communication from Texas State University in 2007, specializing in public relations. After four years at Best Buy, Kalista followed her gypsy nature around for a few years before landing in Bend. Besides playing outside, Kalista enjoys music, books, travelling and photography. True to her Texas roots, she also loves delicious bar-b-que, horse-back riding and two-stepping.
Lana Lane - Staff Accountant	Lana was born and raised in Missoula, MT but spent 9 "long years" in Eugene before climbing over the mountains to Bend in 2002. Lana holds a BS in Accounting from Linfield College studying to sit for the CPA exam. She has 8 years of experience in the accounting field, and is excited to be part of the G5 team where she can "learn more about the interwebz and other nerd stuff." She is a self-proclaimed soccer mom wanna-be, trying to balance work, education, and family. She spends most of her “free” time reading accounting journals, watching her kids play sports, cooking, trying to figure out what her third degree will be in, and partaking in whatever outdoor activities she can.
Tim Marchant – IT Manager	Tim Marchant somehow manages to manage the IT at G5. He's been a small business owner for the past ten years - running a successful IT business in both Crested Butte, CO and Bend before joining G5. He rides a pink mountain bike. Not because he's that good, but because it's that pretty. Tim has a perfect home life: a wonderful wife and two wonderful children. Did he mention the pink mountain bike? His interests outside of work and family include skiing, craft beer, camping and his sweet jeep. Tim likes to smile and holds a degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He did post-graduate work in Seattle.
Sheena Gygax - QA Specialist	Sheena is in charge of making certain that G5's web sites have the high level of quality its clients have come to expect. Born and raised in Oregon, Sheena has an identical twin sister in Bend. Although they are identical, there are distinct differences between the two. A love of travel has propelled Sheena to live across the world in places such as Flagstaff, AZ, South America and Portland, OR. Sheena holds a degree in International Studies with a minor in Spanish from Portland State University and has taken a number of classes on building and designing instructional websites. Sheena works to make the world a better place and lends a hand (or finger) whenever she can.
Sarah Thornburg - Marketing Analyst	Sarah Thornburg is a sixth generation Oregonian and proud of it! Born and raised in Albany, Sarah made the journey to Bend in 2005 to attend the OSU-Cascade Campus where she studied Business Administration with a minor concentration in Natural Resources. Sarah spent three years working for a Bend-based internet marketing company responsible for client services and content management before landing at G5. Sarah also has extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting which enables a detailed eye to her clients' accounts. In her spare time Sarah and her Springer Spaniel can be found enjoying the many outdoor activities and festivals that Bend has to offer. She also enjoys the many local micro-brew pubs, driving fast down dirt roads and cooking tasty eats.
CJ Edmonds - Sales Account Executive	CJ is an accomplished, client-driven sales executive with over 18 years of experience as a CEO, vice-president, individual contributor and business owner in the Internet and wireless industries. Beginning with a background as a CPA, he has solid qualifications in all core business functions, which enable him to help his G5 clients increase their NOI and Occupancy Rates. When not selling for G5, CJ can be found with his wife, three kids and their Chocolate Lab, taking advantage of beautiful Central Oregon through golf, youth sports, mountain biking, beach volleyball, hiking, skiing and snowboarding. CJ holds a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from St. Mary’s College of California, Moraga.
Gavin Rogers - Sales Associate	Gavin began his sales career in high-end real estate for Lowe Enterprises at the Lodge at Suncadia, a $150 Million Condominium Hotel near Seattle, WA. He then moved to Bend in 2006, and worked with a Sales and Marketing firm for master-planned communities in the US and abroad. While there his team consulted for principals such as Fidelity National, Thunder Enterprises, and Lowe Enterprises. Before he joined the private sector Gavin was a Helicopter Manager for the state of Washington’s Wildland Fire Helicopter Crew for five years and had the opportunity to lead some of the state’s best initial-attack firefighters. Gavin is a proud father and husband to a patient wife and new son. He enjoys fly fishing for trout and steelhead on the Deschutes River, and skiing all over the North West when he’s not changing diapers, or annoying his patient wife.
Jennie Macpherson - Support Specialist	Jen was born and raised on the Oregon Coast in North Bend. She attended OSU in Corvallis for an art degree and found a love for sculpture and metalwork. Prior to joining the G5 Support Team, Jen worked in custom picture framing and design. After learning about internet marketing from a friend in the SEO field, she decided it was time for a career change. When not at work, Jen can be found rollerskating with the Lava City Roller Dolls, watching scary movies, cooking up some tasty grub, or in her garage making jewelry out of silverware.
Amanda Patterson - MarCom Manager	Amanda is a marketing maven with 10 years experience in spearheading communication programs that drive results. She began her career at Kimco Staffing Services in Orange County, California, where she managed the communications program and supported the sales team across 25 branch offices as Marketing Communications Manager. In 2003, Amanda transferred to the agency side and joined a B2B agency called Strata-Media as a Senior Account Executive. Most recently, she worked as an Account Supervisor at Citrus where she managed some of the agency’s largest and most profitable clients. Amanda joined us in 2010 to manage G5’s social media and PR strategies, industry event presence, and branding with the VP of Marketing. She received her BA in English from Vanguard University, and fled the freeways of Orange County for the scenic trails of Oregon with her husband in 2006. Together they’ve started a family that includes a daughter and a large-but-loveable great dane/lab mix.
Tim Linquist - Software Engineer	Tim recently relocated to Bend to become a member of the engineering all-stars at G5. He has been a part of numerous start-ups mainly located in the Pacific Northwest. When Tim isn't working he enjoys spending time with his beautiful girlfriend, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, skiing, playing baseball, playing basketball, playing soccer, and more skiing.
Amy Belasen - Administrative Assistant	A published author originally from upstate NY, Amy joined the G5 team in June 2010. After two year stints in Los Angeles and Tucson, Amy moved to Bend with her talented boyfriend, his daughter and the promise of mild winters. Amy earned her B.A. in English with a concentration in cultural studies and art history from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She reflects on her college experience in her debut dark comedy novel, Jenny Green's Killer Junior Year (Simon & Schuster, 2008). Amy freelances for the Source Weekly and teaches Community Learning writing courses at COCC. While her passion for travel has propelled her to cities from Rio de Janeiro to Kiev and Tel Aviv, Amy makes a conscious effort to enjoy all that Central Oregon has to offer. Her favorite things include cycling, hiking, day trips, yoga, red wine and Juicy Couture warehouse sales.
Betsy Neimann - Administrative Assistant/Sales Support	Betsy was born and raised in Wheaton, the west suburb of Chicago. She attended college to earn a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching 7 years of English to middle school children, Betsy worked for an international travel company, allowing her to travel to Antarctica, within Inside Passage of Alaska, and Oregon for river rafting. Upon arriving in Oregon for her trip, she immediately knew she needed to move to Bend. Now more than 6 years later, Betsy is excited to join G5 as support to the Sales Team. When not at work, Betsy can be found checking out all types of music around Bend, camping, hiking with her 9-year old beagle mix, disc golfing or hanging out with friends.
Steve Burkett - Software Engineer	Steve brings a wealth of commercial software development experience to the engineering team at G5. His impressive resume includes work at Symyx developing online chemistry notebooks, Microsoft on various teams, and RealNetworks on the codec tools team. He was recently reborn as an open-source enthusiast. Steve grew up in Texas, lived in Finland for more than a year, and lived in Seattle for 11 years before enjoying the good life in Bend. He loves snowboarding, whitewater kayaking, oil painting, kiteboarding, squash, mountain biking and technology. Steve earned a multi-discipline B.S. Computer Science/Business/English degree at UT Austin.
Mike Patron - Project Manager	As a Project Manager in the Implementation Department, Michael is responsible for working with clients to plan, design and implement their new websites on the G5 Platform. A proud father of two, Michael spends much of his free time talking to or about his wife and kids. The rest of the time, you can find him on his mountain bike or swinging a golf club. With a BA in Business Administration from Western Baptist College, Michael and his wife left their sales positions in Oregon and spent two years in Lake Tahoe skiing and golfing. The past 9 years Mike has lived in Bend, working in the tourism marketing industry and acting as the Tournament Director for the largest amateur golf event in the west.
Scott Charlton - Data Coordinator	Scott was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He majored in Political Science at the University of Oregon before moving to Bend in 2002 with his wife Rebecca. They have two children and enjoy many outdoor activities in Central Oregon including mountain biking, snowboarding, and skiing. Scott’s career has primarily been in commercial construction, working as a Project Manager and Owners Representative on a significant project in Bend. Along the way he owned a small business and managed a public golf course clubhouse. As a Data Entry Coordinator, Scott populates webpages with all relevant information for the client sites.
Christie Taylor - Implementation Specialist	Christie moved to Bend in the Spring of 2009 from Kansas City, Missouri. After working as the Jr. Web Designer at an insurance marketing company, she was hired at G5 as an Implementation Specialist, using her advertising degree and background in design to build pages for client websites. When she's not hard at work, Christie can be found hiking a trail, exercising her ever-so-persistent Ridgeback, or dipping her feet into the world of whitewater kayaking with her boyfriend. She is also a photogramist (an art form created in a darkroom) and a freelance graphic designer. On any given day, Christie can be discovered geeking out to her crossword addiction, which is an incurable disease.
Tyler Herrick - Search Engine Optimizer	Tyler was raised in Palm Springs, California and later moved to Bend to enjoy the great outdoors. In 2000, he began working as a self-taught website designer and has since expanded his skill set into several computer-related fields. He started college at OSU-Cascades campus before transferring to OSU in Corvallis where he studied Speech Communication and Computer Science. Prior to joining G5, Tyler worked as a Software Analyst for Business Solutions Group based out of OSU. When he’s not helping our clients achieve maximum SEO performance, he enjoys reading, astrophysics, backpacking, snowboarding, disc golf, traveling and riding motorcycles.
Laurel Bailey Burton - Project Manager	We knew that Laurel's love of high-paced, deadline driven environments would be a perfect fit for our clients. As a Project Manager, Laurel brings an extensive background in marketing and event promotions to G5's Implementation Team. Aside from being skilled in the art of optimism, Laurel is also qualified as an organization lover, folder practitioner, whip-cracker and mix-tape supporter. When not enjoying her view of the Implementation department from the driver's seat of her Mac, Laurel and her son soak up Bend's culture and music scene from another driver's seat, her 1960 Studebaker Lark (which will be finished one day--maybe).
Carrie Percich - HR Coordinator	Carrie moved to Bend from Seattle in June 2010 after living in Washington her whole life. She graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham with a teaching certificate, and taught elementary school children for 5 years. She spent the last 14 years as a recruiter for Volt Information Sciences. As HR Coordinator, Carrie loves the challenge of finding just the right fit for a new employee and a company. When she is not hard at work, you will find her enjoying a variety of outdoor activities with her husband Tony, daughter Carly and black lab Maggie. Whether biking, hiking, downhill and cross-country skiing or snow shoeing, Carrie takes full advantage of beautiful Bend, Oregon.
Jim Bradbury - Sales Executive	As a Sales Executive, Jim is responsible for developing new partnerships in the Self Storage Industry. He is active in the Self Storage Association and is always eager to learn more about what self storage operators face on a day-to-day basis. Prior to joining G5, he was responsible for partner acquisition at Altrec.com, an online retailer of outdoor gear. Jim has a business degree from the University of Oregon, commonly referred to as the "Harvard of the West." On the weekends, he can be found either on a golf course, fly fishing the Deschutes River, competing in a triathlon or trying to keep up with his wife and two young daughters who are the light of his life.
Ryan Barnhart - Sales Executive	As a So Cal defector, Ryan recently moved to Bend bringing nine years of industry experience in the areas of sales, marketing, contract negotiation, advertising, cash-flow analysis and leadership development. Ryan received his business degree from the University of San Diego. Prior to his role at G5, he specialized in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties for private and institutional investors at Marcus and Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. When not passionately driving sales for G5, he can be found golfing, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, cooking a feast with his amazing girlfriend, or cheering on his beloved LA Dodgers.
Kiri Craig - Service Administrator	Kiri was raised in Portland, Oregon. At a young age, she raced in the Mt. Bachelor Ski Education Foundation and spent weekends in Bend or in travelling competitions. Kiri earned her Bachelor's degree in Public Relations & Promotions from Gonzaga University in May 2010. With a few administrative and clerical positions behind her, Kiri is thrilled to join G5. As Service Administrator, she is responsible for general administration of call tracking and other services for existing clients. When not working, Kiri spends time her boyfriend, traveling, skiing, hiking, camping and sampling delicious food.
