Shayne McCarl – Client Services Representative	As one of the first G5 employees, Shayne is a Jayne of all trades. Her primary focus is to satisfy clients by working closely with them to update their websites. After growing up in Sedona, Arizona and receiving her BA at the University of Arizona (Go Cats!) Shayne moved to the Silicon Valley, building up her skills at companies like Microsoft and Hewlett Packard. After working in her field for a few years, she traveled through 19 countries and finally landed in Maui surfing and diving most days and working when she could. Missing the joys of technology but wanting to balance her life with outdoor recreation she moved to Bend with her husband Daryl. She now has one daughter and one on the way!
John Staudenraus – Senior Search Analyst	As one of G5's Search Analysts, John is part of the Paid Guru's team at G5. He sets up, monitors, and runs paid advertising on Google, Yahoo, and a whole slew of other search engines. In his spare time, you can find John hacking away on the golf course with aspirations of someday making the PGA Senior tour. His 20 handicap is the only thing holding him back. John received a degree in Management Information Systems from Washington State University. "Go Cougs!"
Dawn Graham – Client Services Representative	Raised in Southern California, Dawn relocated to Bend 10 years ago to enjoy all that Central Oregon has to offer. She is the proud Mommy of 4 kids and in her spare time she loves being a part of the G5 Search Family. On her days off you are most likely to find her volunteering in her sons 1st grade class, baking or coloring with her kids, or hiking with her family on a sunny day.
Jody O'Donnell – Web Developer	Jody is a one-man tour de force, slinging packets and pixels like an internet short-order cook. Being a Native Oregonian, he dropped the corporate world in Denver, Colorado for the beauty and simplicity of Central Oregon. While not banging away on keyboards, you can find him on the trails or hanging from cliffs hoping he won't need a rescue.
Kira Marchant - Project Manager	Kira is a Project Manager for G5. She is responsible for working with clients, designers and engineers to bring a website from concept to design to "live" on the web. Prior to joining G5, Kira was the owner and operator of a small property management company in Crested Butte, Colorado as well as a website marketer and designer. Prior to that she was the Marketing Manager for Geonerco, Inc. a homebuilder and developer with offices in 5 western states. She was responsible for online advertising and website content as well as overseeing marketing activities in 6 branch offices. Kira received her BA in Communications and BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder. When not working you can find Kira enjoying the outdoors - hiking, mountain biking or playing in the snow with her husband Tim and their two children.
Kevin Detweiler - Controller	As G5's controller, Kevin is responsible for various aspects of the company's finances and operations. Kevin began his career in private and public accounting and brings over 16 years of business experience in the financial, software and retail industries. Prior to joining G5, Kevin was VP of Operations for Access Knowledge, a mobile data strategy company assisting clients with information management on the BlackBerry platform. Prior to Access Knowledge, Kevin was Credit Services Manager for Multnomah Publishers, managing large accounts receivables and a team of collection representatives. He received his BA in Accounting from Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana.
Lance Hardy – Web Developer	A firm believer in pursuing what he loves, Lance tends to sport some wicked cool "hat hair" styles from the variety of hats he wears each day. His primary passion is avant-garde photography, tackling any and all subjects that interest him with a primary focus on glamour. Years of dabbling and some serious heavy lifting in the web and browser based software development arena keep him busy and grounded. Lance is currently completing a long time goal of achieving his B.S. in Computer Science and will happily hang his degree on the wall in early 2009.
Kim Evered - Marketing Analyst	As one of G5's dedicated Marketing Analysts, Kim helps close the loop on G5's tracking, analysis and reporting processes while also working with customers to help educate them on our services. Prior to joining G5, Kim was the Inside Sales Manager at PV Powered, a Bend, OR solar inverter manufacturing company. Along the way in her varied career path, she has also held positions in Customer Service/Technical Support, Marketing, Sales, Business Management and Accounting. Kim received her B.A. degree in English from Willamette University.
Russell C. Easter – Sales Account Executive	Russell's career began with FOX Sports Direct where he was the recipient of the national "Superior Sales Achievement Award" two straight years. He moved into the Internet space in 1995 with a start-up company called JoeAverage.com, a social networking company focused on the college market. In 1996 he went to work for Network Commerce, an Internet Infrastructure company where he received numerous promotions eventually achieving the position of Senior Business Development Manager. In 2000 he moved to Bozeman, MT where he took a position as a Corporate Accounts Manager for RightNow Technologies, a software company. He then took a few years to assist in the growth of a family business before moving to Bend where he found a tremendous opportunity with G5. "The ability to provide my clients with absolute proof of our results is paramount,” he said. “Sales can be a tough business because for the most part, you are selling an idea and the results are difficult to assess. When I saw that I could show my clients a definite R.O.I. for every penny they've spent, I jumped at the opportunity."
Erik Miller – Search Optimizer	When it comes to Erik Miller you can say a lot. An avid fisherman and track bike rider, Erik is eager to go into the office in the morning because he knows when hes off he plays hard. He rocks the SEO team by bringing a "Kill It" attitude as in all he does. Having moved to the Northwest a few years back for the outdoors his motto would be "React Now, Fix it Later."
þaul Dàcus – Software Engineer	When people want code written they call Pàul Dàcus. Despite his oddball sense of humor, or perhaps because of it, Paul is an excellent and talented programmer. He likes to joke that he has seen the world as he’s travelled extensively through both the United States and Canada. Paul is married to his college sweetheart and the proud father of 3 boys. An avid cyclist, Paul can be seen riding his bike to work on a daily basis. Something he likes to point out - he does more than anybody else at G5. He holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the University of Missouri.
Chris Stringer – Web Developer	Chris is a part of the engineering crew at G5. His background is in software and web development as well as business development and online marketing, and he has founded and worked with numerous start up companies over the years. Chris is an outdoor nut, and his passions include skateboarding, snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing and mountain biking. Chris is an East Coast transplant but he knows that living here in the Pacific Northwest for the past 13 years has earned him "local" status.
Kat Merrick – Executive Assistant	Kat might be best described as G5’s Girl Friday. She brings coast-to-coast business operations experience to the G5 team. In some of her earlier lives she was an event planner, a paralegal, a restaurant manager, an operations manager, a bookkeeper and an office manager in places like Buffalo, New York City, Philadelphia, Aspen and King Salmon, Alaska. An avid outdoorswoman, when not at work Kat can be found exploring Central Oregon’s rivers, lakes and trails with her husband, Dave, and her dog, Lowell. Kat received her B.S. in Hotel Management from Cornell University but has become a devoted Platypus (Duck football and Beaver baseball) fan since arriving in Bend 6 years ago.
Rob Day – Sales Account Executive	Rob brings a wide variety of experience to the G5 sales team - with over 15 years of sales experience in various fields including Human Resources, Medical Equipment and Software. Prior to G5, Rob was building high end homes in Central Oregon with his company Day Custom Homes. An official local after almost 15 years in Bend, you can find Rob on the lake, river, mountain, golf course or rugby field when not at work. He spends most of his time enjoying the Central Oregon outdoors with his family and friends. If you can't find him in any of those other places its probably best to check the nearest sunny deck or wherever the cooler full of drinks is located. He received his BA from Arizona State.
Devin Davis – Director of Marketing	Devin is the main apostle disseminating the G5 gospel. Most recently, he worked in International Development in Ukraine as a member of the U.S. Peace Corps. Prior to that, he spent several years in High Tech Public Relations with Vantage Communications where he had a hand in launching Convergin, a leader in the Fixed to Mobile Convergence Industry. He also managed several other clients across a broad spectrum of technology industries including VoIP, wireless and Internet security. When not hard at work, you can find Devin with his dog Aspen on a long run enjoying the beautiful Central Oregon weather or in the kitchen whipping up gourmet dishes. He received his BA in Journalism from California State University, Chico.
Heather Amey – Marketing Analyst	Heather brings a decade of customer support experience to the G5 Client Services Support team. After graduating from the University of Washington with a BA in Speech Communication, Heather has held a range of positions from Team Leader of Recruiting in Portland to legal assistant in Whitefish, Montana. When not updating websites, Heather enjoys hiking, skiing, gardening and playing with her family in beautiful Central Oregon.
Chris Sterry - Search Analyst	When Chris isn't out traveling the world with his wife Kristi, coaching water polo at Summit High School, or enjoying the beautiful Central Oregon outdoors with their dog Rascal, he spends his time as a search analyst here at G5. Chris sets up and manages paid advertisements on Google, Yahoo, and several other sites. Prior to joining G5, he was a sales and marketing specialist working with Kodak Digital Imaging. Originally from Southern California, Chris moved to Bend to enjoy the active community that Bend is famous for. As he puts it, "I love being in an environment that has more trees than billboards!" Chris majored in both philosophy, and education at California State University Fullerton.
Tom Offerman - Sales Account Executive	Tom came to G5 after most recently having served as a stay-at-home dad for his two young children upon his relocation to Bend from the San Francisco Bay area just over two years ago. He brings over 15 years of sales experience to G5. Tom began his career as a store manager for The Wherehouse Entertainment in San Diego. In 1993 he moved to Seattle and served as a Registered Representative for Painewebber in Sales Operations. In 1996 he left financial services for a career in Information Technology, first representing Vista Information Solutions in Northern California, a provider of environmental risk information to engineers, attorneys and the corporate markets. In 1999 he joined the dot com world and worked for SeniorHousingNet, a search engine for senior housing. After a family relocation back to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2002, he worked for Property I.D., the largest Natural Hazard Disclosure report provider in California. Tom originally hails from Boston and has lived in eight states over the years, but is now pleased to call Bend home. When not working, you can find Tom hiking, camping or playing in the mountains with his wife Teresa and two young children.
Timmy Crawford - Software Engineer	While not slanging the code you can often find Timmy shredding the gnar. A self-proclaimed "sick bird" TIMMAY, as he likes to be called, enjoys spending his free time pursuing various outdoor activities that involve snow, beer, and oddly enough, pink belts. At the office Timmy is part of the G5 engineering team. Prior to G5, Timmy held positions at Microsoft, Mt. Bachelor, and was most recently a self-employed "code warrior". Equipped with a BA in Business Administration for the University of Washington, Timmy also finds delight in annoying U of O graduates. When not "getting rad" at the keyboard, or outdoors, he is usually found hanging with his lovely family and two wunder mutts.
Amanda Beezley - Search Optimizer	Amanda is a fresh face in the NorthWest having traded in the High Desert of California for the High Desert of Oregon. After working as a notary and spending time in the mortgage industry, Amanda welcomed the positive environment and friendly faces at G5. In her spare time, Amanda can be found with her nose in a book or in front of an old movie. An aspiriing chef and longtime writer, Amanda is happiest in the kitchen with a tray of fresh ingredients or sitting down to work on some new piece of poetry or prose she'll then hide from the world. Amanda strives to make every day a good one, smiles at strangers on the street and always stops to smell the roses.
